Welcome To Mercertown!

Louisville, Kentucky has been home to Mercer Transportation since it was founded in 1977.  Our corporate headquarters, which has come to be known as Mercertown, is home to our family of owner-operators and centralized customer service center.  Here we coordinate the activities of our network of more than 90 freight agent offices.  A computer data network provides access to dispatch tracking, rate quotes, manifest data and other information pertaining to customer shipments.

The Mercer headquarters is proud to maintain a family atmosphere that encourages contractors to make themselves at home.  Our open door policy welcomes contractors to work directly with their freight coordinator and the Mercer staff.  In addition, Mercer's on-site driver lounge offers TV rooms, showers, and 24 hour truck parking to ensure the comfort of all visiting contractors.
