January '10 Showusyourtruck.com Winners

Hello everyone! We're seeing lots of pretty trucks being submitted lately on Showusyourtruck.com. Keep 'em coming! This month, the Mercer Winner belonged to Sam Young for his shiny, '07 KW. In the "Best of the Rest" catagory, Jimmy Culberson's '88 379 took the cake. Congratulations, guys!

Sam Young's '07 KW (Mercer)

Sam Young's 2007 Kenworth W900 is the perfect example of what Mercer looks for when leasing on a new contractor. This truck is clean, safe and free of any violations. It's beautiful Mercer blue paint makes for a great representation of our company. Young's truck pulls a 2009 Utility flatbed trailer. The KW features an Acert CAT 550 HP engine, 18 speed transmission with 3:36 ratio. Young says, "She's just meat an potatoes. Just a work truck." She's a beauty, Sam! Good enough for Mercer!

Jimmy Culberson's '88 Pete (BOTR)

Jimmy Culberson's awesome '88 Pete 379 Extended Hood is a classic! You gotta love the muted color combination and the retro graphics. This old Pete isn't a complete blast from the past - it's been updated with a pair of 15" strapless Vortox breathers, 7" Dynaflex flattops, flush-mounted deck plate and a custom painted tailgate plate. To go along with the antique look, Culberson added 359 hood lights, painted buckets and bezels. Culberson pulls for Kevin Teague Trucking, out of Liberty, North Carolina.
