February's Letter From Recruiting
Recruiting's new home at Building 8.
Burr, it's freeing out there!! Whie things are pretty chilly outside, things around the home office are just starting to heat up. We have just completed our move into our new recruiting office, so we now find ourselves trying to go through the daily routine while trying to figure out where in the world we put that box that has the paperclips in it. The best part of us moving is now that we are out of the way, it is time to begin remodeling the conractors' lounge! We appreciate all of the suggestions from our contractors on the improvements or changes that we can make and I know that our facilities department will do their best to make it great.
We are also hard at work planning for our contractor cookout in conjunction with the Mid-America Trucking Show (or as we call it, the Mercer Town Truck Show). If you have never joined us for the cookout or the truck show, this is definitely the year to attend. This year promises to be the biggest yet- and after all, it is the fun and sense of family around here that makes this compnay special to so many of our contractors and employees.
In the meantime, hang in there - spring is just around the corner and it should bring more freight, better driving conditions and good times here in mercer Town. I really appreciate all of the great work that you guys do to make us The Owner Operator Company. Everybody stay safe until next month. Now where the heck is that box with my stapler ...
