May 2009 Contractor of the Month

May's Contractor of the Month is James Miller, unit 11045. Contractor Relations Advocate, Jason Schaftlein, recently received word of Miller's excellent customer service. He writes, "James Miller loaded a load in Sharpsville, PA at Chautaugua Fiberglass & Plastics yesterday.  Mike Tellman from Chautaugua Fiberglass, called into Libby and said that James was extremely nice, and helpful.  He couldn't say enough about him, actually.  Would want him to load for them anytime, and if every driver at Mercer is like James, then Mercer is the only company for them." 

Miller has been leased to Mercer since October of 2008. He hauls freight in Mercer's Mid-America fleet, and although times have been tough for everyone he says, "I love it at Mercer. I wish I had come to Mercer earlier. I've been trucking since 1978, and now is the worst I've ever seen it. Mercer goes out of their way to keep their guys around and work with them. I am very content."
