Showusyourtruck.com's December Winners

Don’t be fooled by the smooth paint and gleaming chrome - Darian Stephen’s truck, named “Keystone Jr.”, is a genuine working truck. In fact, Stephens delivered a load the night before judging at last year’s Walcott Truckers Jamboree. In that particular show, he returned home with three trophies.
How does he do it? Lots of drive, hard work and discipline. Stephens specializes in cleaning, detailing, waxing and polishing and he is admired for his excellent attention to detail. Stephens would like to credit Penn Detroit Diesel for mechanical upkeep, Denver Truck Painting for paint and graphics and Interior Eagle Ink for accents.
Like Stephens, owner operator, Chad Vetting, spends quite a bit of time keeping up with his truck’s appearance. During the harsh Wisconsin winters, Vetter’s truck, “28V” has seen its fair share of gravel, sand, rust and salt. Luckily, Vetting is an ace when it comes to paint and bodywork. Not only did he design his truck’s look, he did practically all of the custom fabrication and painting himself - everything from the orange and black paint scheme to the deck plates. His passion for working on trucks lead him to start his own side business, and now he designs, paints and customizes trucks when he’s not out on the road.
“28V” features a 272” wheelbase, 475 horsepower Detroit engine, 15 speed transmission and 48’ ’99 Retinouer flatbed trailer. In addition, Vetting added custom welded deck plates, light bar, step boxes and an aluminum floor with a coordinating flame motif.
