Thanksgiving Dinner

Pressure Cooker Turkey
 
1- 13LB turkey
1 loaf of white bread
1 medium onion
 4 stalks of celery
 1 stick of butter
 1 teaspoon of salt
 
Break bread into large bowl. In medium sauce pan, melt butter. Saute onion and celery just until onions become translucent. Pour butter mixture over bread and add salt. Mix well. Wash Turkey. Stuff turkey. Place turkey in pressure cooker. Add 2 cups of water. Bring pressure up. Cook on high pressure for 45 minutes. Turkey will be brown and tender.


Cranberry Filled Squash

2 medium acorn squash
1- 16oz. can of whole cranberry sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon all spice

Prick squash several times with a fork to allow steam to escape. Microwave on high for 9 minutes microwave for 9 more minutes on high until soft when pricked with fork. let stand for 5 minutes. Cut in half and remove seeds. Place cut side up in 10 inch pie plate. in small bowl combine cranberry sauce, honey and alspice. Spoon into squash halves. Microwave on High 4 minutes.

Country Corn Bread

1 Cup of Flour
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
1 Cup Corn Meal
1/4 Cup Butter
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 Egg Slightly Beaten
2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 Cup Milk

In medium bowl, mix flour, corn meal, sugar, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Place butter in small bowl. Microwave at high for 45 seconds. Add butter and remaining ingredients to flour mixture. Stir until just moistened. Spread in ungreased 9" round microwave baking pan. Microwave at power 7 for 8- 10 minutes let stand for 3 minutes.
