Please see the below information concerning a recent stolen load in the Dallas/Ft.Worth, TX area:

Looks like the criminal activity in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area has take a more violent turn. Please make your drivers aware of the violent nature and the importance of not randomly stopping in truck stops for breaks without taking both personal security measures and those to secure their equipment. Times are getting desperate for the criminal element so please ramp up personal safety and accountability to your drivers. Be safe and continue to report suspicious activity.

TRUCK STOPS ALONG I-20 SOUTH OF DALLAS SHOULD BE AVOIDED AS THIS AREA IS WELL CONCENTRATED WITH KNOWN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL CARGO THEFT ORGANIZATIONS AND RELATED GROUPS.

BOLO FOR STOLEN TRACTOR TRAILER AND AIR CONDITIONERS CARGO
Missing Tractor: 2007 Freightliner, conventional cab, white, with "PTL” red logos on both doors of the cab, unit number 8983, VIN: 1FUJA6CK97LV93439, Tennessee license plate: 54303-HY
Missing Trailer: 1999 Great Dane van, “PTL WE DRIVE A FINE LINE” logo on both sides of the trailer, unit number 431728 on both ends of the trailer in red numbers VIN: 1GRAA0629XB005826, Tennessee license plate: 098803S
Cargo: Carrier air conditioners and cooler, approximate value: $200,000

Driver claimed he was kidnapped and held at knifepoint at 20:00, Sunday 01/11/09 at Love’s truck Stop at Rockwall, TX and turned loose in the early morning hours of Tuesday, 01/13/09 near Hutchins, TX.

The owning company, Paschall Truck Lines, reported that the fuel account for the missing rig was used at the Pilot Truck Stop, Lancaster, TX, I-20 at 13:35, Monday 01/12/09.

The loss was reported to the Sulphur Springs Police Department, Sulphur Springs, TX. A report number was not available at the time this BOLO was prepared.

There is a cash reward for the recovery of the rig and cargo
